Description
This pattern dates back to the late 1800's. The pieces in this set have been collected over a number of years, so I imagine they are of varying age. There is some difference in the pattern on some pieces; some have gilded edges, some don't; some have a scalloped edge, some don't. They are mostly in excellent condition. I noticed a few minor chips on a piece here and there. The end of the handle on the uncovered creamer is broken, which seems to be the most significant damage. The set includes: 9 9.75" dinner plates (all but one have gilded edge) 10 8.5" salad plates 12 7" dessert plates (4 with gilded edge, 4 without; 4 with scalloped edge & gilt) 7 6.25" bread and butter plates (6 scalloped, with 2 gilded, one of which is chipped), 1 not scalloped or gilded 3 4.75" saucers (one commemorates Burschentag 1930) 1 5.25" x 1" deep saucer with flared lip 2 5.5" x 1" deep saucer 4 5.5" x 1" deep saucer with gilding 7 5.75" saucers (1 chipped), 2 without gilding 4 6" saucers with scalloped edge 10 tea cups (6 are 2.25" x 2.75", 4 are 2.5" x .75"); 1 seems quite old and rough inside 4 2" x 3.75" coffee cups 3 2.25" x 2.25" demitasse (2 w/gilding, 1 without) 1 3" x 3" coffee cup 2 small berry dishes, about 5" x 1", one with gilding, one without 1 teapot 1 covered sugar bowl (I'm not sure this was the original lid) 1 covered creamer with rose-handled lid 1 uncovered creamer (decorative end of handle is broken) 1 small condiment spoon 1 spoon rest 1 two-sided condiment server 2 vases - 8.75" and 8.5" tall 1 6.5" square serving dish 1 9"x6" relish tray 1 10.5"x7.75" platter 1 9" covered serving dish 1 8" reticulated basket 1 8.5" x 4.5" bowl on pedestal If you have questions about a specific piece or need additional pictures, please contact me before bidding.
